Fellow Patriots,

The decision today to increase the Federal Government’s spending cap by $300+ Billion dollars is not only objectionable to Conservatives everywhere, but a direct affront to every American who trusted their elected officials and their promises over the last year.

The budget deal is more than disappointing – it is disgraceful. While politicians declare victory and celebrate an end to the short - lived Government shutdown, they intentionally distract attention from the one-third of trillion dollars that has just been added to the national debt. It has taken less than eight hours for major news feeds to stop carrying the story.

Where is the outrage? Where are the tears?

At Patriot Mobile, we strongly endorse that portion of the spending bill that provides much needed funding for the military and also for recovery from natural disasters. We also recognize that in the Swamp, compromise is the norm. But there is a difference between compromise and sellout!! This extravagant addition to the Federal Government’s spending budget is something we must take a stand against.

Last night, only one Conservative tried to stop this abuse of power, and his lone statement represents Patriot Mobile today.

“I ran for office because I was very critical of President Obama’s trillion-dollar deficits,” the Kentucky senator said. “Now we have Republicans hand in hand with Democrats offering us trillion-dollar deficits. I can’t in all honesty look the other way.”” -Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.

The politicians that voted to approve this deal sold us out. All of us – not just Conservatives!

Today, the Swamp grew, and the American people were let down. Today, we stand with our heads bowed in disappointment and our hearts beating as one for Patriots everywhere.

We will not look the other way.
